MedQIC has a new home on the Web

Anyone who tries to access MedQIC by visiting www.medqic.org will be automatically redirected to the new link. You will also be able to access MedQIC by visiting www.qualitynet.org. At the top of the home page, next to the tab for “My QualityNet,” you’ll see a new tab for MedQIC.

Pages under this link will contain the information you have become accustomed to in past years but with the QualityNet feel, including colors and fonts. The setting tabs (such as home health, physician office, etc.) will remain across the top navigation. A 9th scope of work (SOW) theme section will be in the left navigation of the home page, allowing us to continue providing access to tools and resources that relate to measures in both the 8th and 9th scopes of work.

A note on bookmarked links: Initially, when you visit your bookmarked links, they will be automatically redirected. To avoid losing any of your Favorites, you need to update your links as soon as the site has moved. Instructions for updating links in Internet Explorer are available.

Finding What You Need

You will still be able to access the information you are looking for two ways: by searching and by navigating.

Searching

With the move, we are streamlining the search process. Using specific keywords in your search should return fewer results than before, making it easier to fi nd what you’re looking for.

Navigating

Under the standard setting tabs, you’ll still be able to click on the topic you want from menus on the left side of each page. Once you click on your topic, you can view different types of resources by using the “In this Section…” box on the right.
