Nursing Home Quality Initiative (NHQI)As Arkansas' Quality Improvement Organization (QIO), AFMC leads the national Nursing Home Quality Initiative throughout the state. AFMC's nursing home QI team offers technical assistance to help nursing homes improve the care they provide, while meeting the social, emotional and psychological needs of their residents. The nursing home Setting Targets — Achieving Results (STAR) site allows you to set targets for the following quality measures: physical restraints, high risk pressure ulcers, depression and chronic pain care. Registered nursing homes can view their quality measure scores, select appropriate targets and track their progress over time. Using the nursing home STAR site, your nursing home can become a "star" performer. |
