Cervical CancerWidespread use of cervical cancer screening has reduced
the death rate for cervical cancer dramatically over
the past
several decades. Early detection of cervical cancer results
in a five-year survival rate of greater than 90 percent. Yet, 50 percent
of women in the U.S. who develop cervical cancer have never
