Health Information Exchange

The objective of the Health Information Exchange Steering Committee is to develop a state business plan for health information exchange (HIE). To accomplish this goal, a consultant has been brought in to help the committee prepare the business plan. Due to the tremendous amount of work ahead a structure of four subcommittees will be formed.

Each committee and workgroup has had many meetings and continues to meet on an ongoing basis.
