News
HPMP News (no longer in production) offered the latest information to help hospitals comply with Medicare’s documentation and billing requirements. Designed for physicians, administrators, compliance officers, HIM directors, coders and case managers, this periodic publication is produced by AFMC’s Hospital Payment Monitoring Program team.
HEDIS Report: "Measuring More of What Matters"
HEDIS® measures look at how many of a plan’s enrollees are receiving care that meets national standards. Many of the measures focus on preventive care, such as childhood vaccinations and mammograms. Other measures look at specific care for chronic illnesses, such as asthma and diabetes.
Report to the Community
Defining the Arkansas Foundation for Medical Care and the services we provide is a challenge. To help explain our role in Arkansas’ health care system, AFMC has just published a Report to the Community: 2006. Written and prepared for state decision-makers, health care providers, community leaders and anyone with a stake in Arkansas’ health care system, the Report to the Community provides a snapshot of AFMC’s wide-ranging responsibilities and services for Medicare, Arkansas Medicaid, health care providers and all Arkansans.
