AFMC is a National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA)-certified HEDIS®/CAHPS® survey vendor, experienced with MHSIP, health outcomes, and other standardized consumer surveys. Our data sciences team possesses a wide range of experience and depth of knowledge. Collectively, team members have earned PhDs and master’s degrees in fields including bioscience, biostatistics, business administration, dentistry, epidemiology, mathematics, pharmacy, public health, social work, statistics, and toxicology. These nationally recognized analytics specialists work together to gather and analyze data from a wide range of sources to produce clear, concise reports to help inform state decision-makers, health care providers, and quality improvement efforts. Services include:
- Data collection and analysis to measure and improve health outcomes
- Customer satisfaction surveys (beneficiary access and quality of care)
- Program and performance evaluation
- Data trending and customized reports
- Provider scorecards and assessments
- Data submission validation
- Epidemiological profiles, including GIS mapping of data
- Creation of fact sheets, data briefs, and infographics
- Identification of knowledge gaps and recommendation of variables for collection
AFMC’s data sciences team also provides analytical support and leadership for Arkansas State Epidemiological Outcomes Workgroup (SEOW) through a contract with the Arkansas Department of Human Services’ Division of Adult, Aging and Behavioral Health Services (DAABHS). Our team supports DAABHS in its decision-making process regarding the delivery of prevention services.
