Out of over 1,800 applicants, Sydney was chosen along with 186 others to present at the conference. In front of over 50 attendees, Sydney shared details of how ArcGIS overcame the State of New Hampshire’s challenge of inaccessible and out-of-date data on statewide peer recovery programs.

As part of AFMC’s data sciences team, Sydney leveraged ArcGIS to create an internal interactive program monitoring dashboard that was easy for the State to navigate, pushed the most meaningful data forward, and allowed users to see data in near real-time in one centralized location.

Sydney also utilized ArcGIS’s StoryMap function to allow for more user interaction and customization with data elements. StoryMaps translate data into a compelling story, revealing trends and presenting results in a way that encourages action.

AFMC uses cutting-edge, innovative technological systems like ArcGIS to inform healthcare leaders about data, trends, and insights they can use to influence change and improve patient outcomes. Our data sciences team possesses a wide range of experience and knowledge to support state, federal, and private entities in their data-driven decision-making processes.
